about

The debut album from theMiDDLEfork, “Bucket o’ Truth” melds raw, organic tones with precise sequencing. Calling forth an eclectic range of influences, Tee (the mad scientist sitting at the album’s control deck) brings to life a Frankenstein monster greater than the sum of its parts. Tracks like “89 Octane” and “I Prefer Not” marry aspects of Mophine, Primus and Clutch, while tunes like “Mtn Parkway” and “Declawed” grind and gurgle with hints of Nine Inch Nails and Aphex Twin. Even with the influences he wears on his sleeve, Tee is able to plow theMiDDLEfork’s first effort into new sonic territory that is simultaneously shocking and beautiful.
